Young Brahmins’Association is an offshoot of the parent body, Quilon Brahmana Samajam which is
affiliated to Kerala Brahmana Sabha. The idea of forming such an organization emanated from the young
and impressionable youth of kollam who have a desire to excel in every field of their activities. At a time
when all the religious and social organizations feel the need to accommodate their youth in the activities,
it is only natural that the young boys and girls of our community felt the need for such a unity among its members.

It is not only a conglomeration of the young and enthusiastic members of the community, their deep involvement and active participation are stepping stones towards the development of their personality. Needless to say that we are living in a globally competitive environment, which needs unstained efforts on the part of the youth to be a part of the society by partaking in all the social, religious and cultural activities of our community.
It was with this motive in mind and also with the blessings of the elders in the organization a group of youth took the initiative in forming the organization called Young Brahmins’ Association. The formal organization came into existence on the republic day in 2007. A team of dedicated, enthusiastic, hardworking and result oriented boys and girls came together to form such an organization and also to be of guidance to the youth of the community. No doubt this organization has grown from strength to strength thanks to the dedicated efforts of its members. The members can very proudly and honorably claim it to be a beacon light for the upcoming youth of our community.
