Avani Avittam '11

Members of the Brahmin Community here observed the Annual Avani Avittam ritual at Anandavaleeswaram Temple on Saturday. About 130 members participated on the occasion.

YBA donated Vedic Books to Narayana Sastrigal who has been taking free Vedic Classes to the Youth members of the Community.

Games Ekklesia '11

YBA Kollam conducted various games as a part of Independence Day Celebrations on Aug 6th & 7th at Brahmana Samajam Hall. The events which commenced on Aug 6th was formally inaugurated by Secretary Naveen Kumar.


The events were:

2. Caroms (Singles & Doubles)
3. Shuttle Badminton (Singles & Doubles)
4. Scrabble
5. Quiz
6. Sudoku
7. Patriotic Song
8. Group Discussion
9. Drawing and Painting


With about 45 participants actively competing, the fierceness of the competition extended beyond the barriers.
